Washington Huskies 2020 Football Schedule Announced

Per The University of Washington Press Release…..

January 16, 2020

Washington’s 2020 conference football schedule will alternate home and away games for nine weeks in a row, it was revealed today as the Pac-12 announced the league schedule for the coming season.

The Huskies will open the season with three straight, non-conference home games before a week off. After that, they’ll play road and home games on alternating weeks for the entirety of the conference schedule, beginning with their Pac-12 opener Oct. 3 at Oregon. Notably, along with never playing back-to-back home or road games in conference play, the Huskies will not play any teams that were off the week prior.

Washington’s 2020 non-conference schedule had been announced previously, and covers the first three Saturdays of the season. The Coach Jimmy Lake Era will get underway Sept. 5, when Michigan makes a visit to Husky Stadium. The following two weeks, Sacramento State (Sept. 12) and Utah State (Sept. 19) come to Seattle.

After the off week and the game at Oregon, the Huskies will play host to Oregon State on Oct. 10, travel to Utah on Oct. 17 and then host Arizona on Friday, Oct. 23. Halloween will see the UW face California in Berkeley.

November starts with a home date vs. Stanford on Nov. 7 at Husky Stadium, followed a trip to USC (Nov. 14) and a home game vs. Colorado (Nov. 21). The regular season concludes with the Apple Cup, Friday, Nov. 27, in Pullman.

This season’s Pac-12 Championship Game will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 4.

Typically, the Pac-12 and its network partners announce kickoff times and TV arrangements for the first three weeks of the season, as well as all or most non-Saturday games, around June 1. All game times aside from those are released after the start of the season, usually on the Monday 12 days before.
