DubLife.net is doing a Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history. Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

9 DAYS ‘TIL CHRISTMAS

The number 9 signifies the 2018 Washington Huskies Football Team finishing the season #9 in the final College Football Playoff Rankings.

With back to back wins against the #8 Washington State Cougars and the #17 Utah Utes, the Huskies were able to climb back into top ten.

In the 2019 Rose Bowl, the #9 Washington Huskies will face off against the #6 Ohio State Buckeyes in a traditional Rose Bowl game matchup.

It will mark the third consecutive year that the Huskies will compete in a “New Year’s Six Bowl” under head coach Chris Petersen.
