DubLife.net is doing a Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history.  Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

24 DAYS ‘TIL CHRISTMAS

The number 24 signifies the amount of points the 1991 Washington Huskies Football team scored in their road victory against the California Bears 24-17.

Huskies cornerback Walter Bailey tipped the Bears pass away on the final possession, preserving the win in a nail biting matchup.

Their road victory against the California Bears proved to be their toughest game of the season, and was the turning point towards a perfect 12-0 season.

Back in 1991, the Huskies Football team achieved their most decorated season in school history which culminated in a National Championship.
