“The 25 Days Of Husky Christmas” – 24 Days ‘Til

Counting down “The 25 Days of Husky Christmas”…..

“DubLife” is doing its second season of the annual Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history.  Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

24 DAYS ‘TIL CHRISTMAS

The number 24 signifies the amount of points the 1924 Washington Huskies Football team held their opponents to all season long.

In its fourth season under head coach Enoch Bagshaw, the Huskies finished 8-1-1 and finished in third place in the Pacific Coast Conference.

On the season, the Huskies outscored their opponents by a grand total of 355-24, which was quite remarkable over a 10-game stretch.

The Husky defense delivered 6 shutouts on the season and never gave up more than 7 points in any single game.

In it’s final game, the Huskies finished strong with a shutout, while defeating the Washington State Cougars 14-0 in the Apple Cup.
