“The 25 Days Of Husky Christmas” – 23 Days ‘Til

Counting down “The 25 Days of Husky Christmas”…..

DubLife.net is doing a Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history.  Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

The number 23 signifies the number of completions senior quarterback Jake Browning had in the Huskies 35-7 win over the BYU Cougars earlier this season.

Browning ended up going 23-of-25, and his 92-percent completion rate against BYU was the best ever by a UW quarterback, with more than 20 passing attempts in a game.

What was significant about this game was Browning’s amazing feat as he became the Washington Huskies all-time passing yards leader.

The record was previously held by former Husky quarterback Cody Pickett as he kept the record for 15 years prior to Browning breaking it.
