“The 25 Days Of Husky Christmas” – 20 Days ‘Til

Counting down “The 25 Days of Husky Christmas”…..

DubLife.net is doing a Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history.  Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

20 DAYS ‘TIL CHRISTMAS

The number 20 signifies the least amount of points the 1991 Washington Huskies Football Team scored, in every game that season, except for one.

During the course of that season, the Husky offense averaged over 41 points each game and only scored fewer than 20 points once.

On November 9, 1991, the Huskies traveled to USC and won 14-3 in a defensive battle with the Trojans, at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

For the Huskies to score at least 20 points in each game, except for one, was a big reason why they won the National Championship that season.
