“The 25 Days Of Husky Christmas” – 18 Days ‘Til

Counting down “The 25 Days of Husky Christmas”…..

“DubLife” is doing its second season of the annual Holiday countdown to Christmas highlighting special moments and statistics in Husky Athletics history.  Our segment is meant to bring positive thoughts of our favorite university during a time of the year where thanks and reflection is at the forefront of our minds.

The number 18 represents the number of victories that the Washington Huskies Football program has in bowl game matchups.

Overall, the Huskies record in bowl games is currently 18-19-1, with seven of those victories coming at the Rose Bowl.

The lone tie in program history for the Huskies came in 1944 at the Rose Bowl, with a score of 14-14 against the Navy Midshipmen.

Their most recent victory in a bowl game came back in 2015, in the “The Heart of Dallas” bowl in Dallas Texas, where they defeated the Southern Miss Golden Eagles 44-31.

Washington head coach Chris Petersen is currently 1-4 in bowl games during his Huskies career, with “The Heart of Dallas” bowl being his only victory.
