Noah Dickerson had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and ninth-seeded Washington made a successful return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years, beating Utah State 78-61 on Friday.
UW will compete in the Pac-12 Championship semifinals for the first time since the 2010-11 season as it takes on No. 5 seed Colorado on Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
UW won the Pac-12 Regular Season Championship and clinched the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament.
A trio of Washington Huskies earned All-Pac-12 honors on Monday as senior Matisse Thybulle and sophomore Jaylen Nowell were named to the All-Pac-12 First Team and senior Noah Dickerson earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors. Additionally, Thybulle was selected to the five-man Pac-12 All-Defensive team for the second-straight year. It is the fifth time in Pac-12 history Washington has had three selections to the All-Conference teams.
Washington will honor its four seniors, David Crisp, Noah Dickerson, Dominic Green and Matisse Thybulle on Saturday pregame starting at the 15 minute mark on the game clock. The Huskies will also recognize three student managers during that time. The four seniors have combined to play in 508 career games with 343 starts, while scoring a total of 4,811 points in 13,298 minutes ... they've also pulled down 1,910 rebounds and registered 73 wins.
