Running Back Christian Galvan Commits To Washington

The Washington Huskies Football coaching staff continued to reel in walk-on prospects with their latest coming on the eve of National Signing Day.

Running back Christian Galvan committed to the Huskies as a preferred walk-on, after putting up some impressive numbers during his senior season.

Galvan is three-star prospect from local Bothell High School in Bothell, Washington and the Husky coaches are impressed with his versatility.

At 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, Galvan is a “home run threat” with the ball in his hands, as he amassed over 5,500 all-purpose yards during his career.

He is a two-time KIngCo Offensive player of the year recipient and has often been compared to Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey in the NFL.

Galvan chose the Huskies over schools like Georgetown, Columbia, Drake and the University of San Diego, among other offers.
