SEATTLE – University of Washington freshman Isaiah Stewart has been named to the Citizen Naismith Trophy 2020 Midseason Watch List, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Thursday. Stewart is one of 30 midseason finalists with the top 10 semifinalists being announced on March 5.
He is one of four freshman selected joining Anthony Edwards (Georgia), Precious Achiuwa (Memphis) and Vernon Carey, Jr. (Duke) and is one of two players from the Pac-12 on the midseason list (Payton Pritchard, Oregon).

Stewart is also a top 10 finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year award and was selected to the Wooden Award Top 25 Midseason list.
The 6-9 center in his first year with the Huskies is leading the team in scoring at 17.4 points per game while also pulling down a team-high 8.7 rebounds. He is one of two freshmen nationally to average 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. In 24 games, Stewart has posted five 20-point/10-rebound double-doubles and has a league-best nine double-doubles.
Washington is back in action on Thursday, Feb. 13 as they take on USC in Los Angeles at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
