Stewart averaged a double-double in three games on the week for the Dawgs, going for 16.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in just 29.7 minutes per outing. He shot 56 percent from the field (14-of-25) and knocked down 21-of-26 from the FT line (80.8 percent) while adding four blocks.
The Rochester, N.Y. native opened the week with his second career double-double as he scored 16 points and added a career-high 15 rebounds against South Dakota. He followed that with 12 and six against Eastern Washington in just 21 minutes played. Closing the week against No. 9 Gonzaga, Stewart posted his second career 20-point outing with 21 points and added 10 rebounds for his third double-double and second in three games.
Washington is 7-2 on the year and gets back in action on Dec. 17 against Seattle U in Alaska Airlines Arena (8 p.m./Pac-12 Networks).
