A total of 13 Washington football players – including five first-team selections – were named to the 2019 All-Pac-12 football team, which was announced today.
Offensive linemen Nick Harris and Trey Adams, tight end Hunter Bryant, defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike and defensive back Elijah Molden were all named to the first team.
Outside linebackers Ryan Bowman and Joe Tryon, defensive back Myles Bryant and kicker Peyton Henry were all named to the second team. Tailback Salvon Ahmed, defensive back Kyler Gordon and punter Joel Whitford earned honorable mention, while freshman DB Trent McDuffie earned honorable mention Freshman Defensive Player of the Year.
Harris, a senior center from Inglewood, Calif., and Adams, a senior left tackle from Wenatchee, Wash., both earned first-team All-Pac-12 for the second time. Harris was a first-teamer last year, while Adams earned that recognition as a sophomore in 2016.
Hunter Bryant, a junior from Issaquah, Wash., is one of three finalists for the John Mackey Award. He finished the season with 52 catches for 825 yards.

Onwuzurike, a junior from Allen, Texas, anchored the UW defensive line and finished the season with 41 total tackles, the highest total of any of the Huskies’ front-four players. Molden, a junior from West Linn, Ore., led the team with 70 total tackles, along with three interceptions and 13 pass break-ups. He was a second-team selection in 2018, as a special teams player.
Bowman (Bellevue, Wash.) and Tryon (Renton, Wash.) were the Huskies’ top-two pass-rushers in 2019, combining for 13 and a half sacks. Myles Bryant (Pasadena, Calif.) was second on the team in tackles, with 66. He was also a second-team selection in 2018. Henry (Danville, Calif.) finished the regular season with 18 field goals in 20 attempts.
Whitford (Neerim South, Australia) averaged 44.8 yards per punt this season, second-highest in UW history while Ahmed (Kirkland, Wash.) finished the regular season with exactly 1,000 rushing yards. Gordon (Mukilteo, Wash.) was the Huskies’ special teams MVP who also started five games as a redshirt freshman.
Only Pac-12 South champion Utah, with 10, had more first- and second-team selections than Washington, which had nine players named to the top two teams.
The Huskies take on Boise State in the Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl Dec. 21.
