Husky Legend Jacque Robinson To Be Inducted Into The Rose Bowl Hall Of Fame

The legendary lineage of the University of Washington Football team was recognized by the Rose Bowl committee this week.

Husky Legend Jacque Robinson will be inducted into the 2019 Rose Bowl Hall of Fame at the end of 2019.

The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the Lot K Tent on December 31, 2019.

It can be viewed outside of the Rose Bowl Stadium, one day prior to the kickoff of the 106th Rose Bowl Game, on January 1, 2020.

Robinson was a freshman running back in the 1982 Rose Bowl game, Robinson earned MVP honors in the Huskies’ 28-0 win over Iowa, the first freshman ever so honored. He rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, on 20 carries. Robinson, the father of former UW basketball and football star Nate Robinson, was also named the MVP of the 1985 Orange Bowl, becoming the first player ever to win MVP honors in those two major bowls.
