The first college football AP (Associated Press) Preseason Poll was released today and the Huskies will start out the season as the #13 ranked team in the nation.
Washington is the second highest ranked team in the country among Pac-12 teams and was also recently ranked #12 in the Amway Coaches Poll.
Ironically, last season the Huskies finished the final AP Poll of the season at #13 as well after finishing with a 10-4 overall record.
The Huskies are finishing outside of the top ten due to the perception of losing nine starters on defense and the uncertainty on offense.
