Coach DeBoer Speaks

Earlier today, Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer spoke with the media after practice and gave an update on the team.

He informed us that they will be making a decision next week on who the starting quarterback will be for the season opener against Kent State.

DeBoer had some great things to say about all three of his quarterbacks who are battling for the job.

With Sam Huard, he said he is playing much faster, with Dylan Morris, he said that he has tamed down the “gunslinger” approach, and lastly he said Michael Penix Jr. is “solid”, reads protections well and makes plays.
