Matthews Jr. Helps Washington Pull Away From Northern Arizona 73-62

Matthews scored 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting and nearly missed a double-double, pulling down nine rebounds. It was the third 20-point effort in 94 collegiate appearances – 92 of which came at West Virginia – and his first since Mar. 25, 2019 vs. Coastal Carolina.

At 6-foot-4, 175 pounds, Fuller is a player who has a scorers mentality and likes to be in full attack mode. He has a quick first step and can knock down jumpers from mid-range and from behind the arc. While at TCU, he averaged 5.8 points, 1.5 assists during two seasons of play.  Fuller will have a full three years of eligibility in a four-year span to play for the Washington Huskies.

At 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Davis is known as an all-around floor general who knows how to run the offense and is like having another coach on the floor. He is also known as an on-the-ball lockdown defender. While at Stanford, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 13 games last season. Davis earned a Communications degree at Stanford and will have one full year of eligibility to play for the Washington Huskies, after taking advantage of the extra year due to the NCAA Covid-19 pandemic rule for eligibility.
