BREAKING: Top-Rated Long Snapper Jaden Green Commits To Washington

The Washington Huskies Football team received some good news tonight on the recruiting trail for the 2020 class.

Jaden Green from Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona committed to the University of Washington and announced via his twitter account.

He is the #1 rated long snapper in the nation according to 247Sports Composite and an Under Armour All-American.

Following this season, senior long snapper A.J. Carty will graduate and Green’s addition fills a huge void in Carty’s departure.

What is impressive is the fact that Green is talented enough to earn a full scholarship as a long snapper, which is a credit to his talent.

Green’s commitment is the 20th overall for the Huskies 2020 recruiting class and also the second special teams commit for the class.

KOHL’S KICKING CAMPS ASSESSMENT

Green has attended multiple Kohl’s Camps and had is strongest performance yet at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He showed his superior explosiveness by registering a 41 MPH snap on the radar gun as well as finishing the charting session with an average snap time of .65 seconds. Green capped off the Kohl’s Scholarship Camp by winning the camp wide snapping competition and earning a spot in the Under Armour All America Game. Green is without a doubt one of the most talented snappers and athletes in the 2020 class.
