The Washington Huskies Football coaching staff received some more great news in consecutive days with the addition of a talented commit to the “DB Room”.
Earlier this afternoon, defensive back prospect T.J. Hall announced his commitment to the University of Washington via a message he posted on Twitter.
Hall plays at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, California, and was recently committed to Arizona before decommitting this week. At 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Hall is a rising talent and another tall frame for an already stacked secondary for the Huskies.
Greg Biggins who is a national recruiting analyst for 247Sports said of Hall:
“A long, athletic corner pushing 6-2 and looks a lot like some of the other corners we’ve seen have success at Washington over the years. He has a frame similar to former Husky Kevin King and he has looked good at several off-season events. “Hall stood out for us at The Opening Finals and was one of our top performers. He just missed making our Dream Team but was on the honorable mention team and showed he should be mentioned among the top cover corners out West. He’s also a talented receiver and has the skill set to play on either side of the ball in college, although most schools like him as a defensive back. With his frame, he could even grow into a safety and his positional versatility is another thing we like a lot about his upside.”
Hall is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star recruit and the #41 overall athlete prospect in the nation for the 2022 recruiting class as a two-way player. He is also the #47 overall rated prospect in the state of California.
Hall originally was committed to Arizona and had other offers from Oregon State, New Mexico, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, and San Jose State before choosing Washington today.
With the commitment from Hall, Washington now has ten committed players for the 2022 recruiting class. Hall is just the third overall defensive commit for the Huskies in this class as of now.
Washington commits Germie Bernard (WR), Chance Bogan (TE), Jackson Stratton (QB), Parker Brailsford (OL), Vega Ioane (OL), Ben Roberts, Emeka Megwa (RB), Lance Holtzclaw (OLB), Ryan Otton (TE), and T.J. Hall are all headed to Montlake. Bernard, Roberts, Megwa, and Otton are all four-star commits in the fold for this recruiting class so far.
