The Washington Huskies Football family received more great news when one of their offensive lineman was selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Former Husky center Nick Harris was selected as the #160th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns as the first Husky lineman selected.
He was drafted at the #15 pick in the 5th round and the Cleveland Browns will be getting a player with incredible work ethic.
Nick Harris joins Alabama OT Jedrick Wills (No. 10), LSU S Grant Delpit (No. 44), Missouri DT Jordan Elliott (No. 88) and LSU LB Jacob Phillips (No. 97) and FAU TE Harrison Bryant (No. 115) as the sixth member of the Browns’ 2020 draft class.
Harris, who many know as “Brick”, has built himself a reputation as a hard-nosed and ultra-fierce competitor, while being known as a team leader.
During his college career, Harris was a three-year starter with the Huskies and earned first-team All-Pac 12 honors as a junior and senior. He started at right guard in 2017 before moving to center for his final two seasons.
Harris is from Inglewood, California where he played his high school ball at Jserra Catholic High School before joining the Washington Huskies.
