With 9:46 left in the first quarter and the Huskies set to take over on offense, play was suspended in a scoreless game.
An “Extreme Weather Advisory” warning forced authorities to alert Husky fans to exit the stadium and seek shelter.
Currently the game has been suspended for over an hour and now fans await “Mother Nature”.
The last announcement said they will wait 30 minutes after the last strike of lightning to restart the game.
