BREAKING: Hunter Bryant Signs Undrafted Free Agent Contract With The Lions

The 2020 NFL Draft didn’t go exactly as planned for may Washington Husky football hopefuls but good news came immediately afterwards.

Husky tight end Hunter Bryant signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Detroit Lions and will look to prove himself as an elite player.

Bryant is an ultra-talented hybrid tight end who can high-point the ball and make plays down the field while showing his physicality as a blocker.

The 6-foot-2, 239-pound tight end was named as a finalist last season for the John Mackey Award given to the top tight end in the nation.

During this past season, Bryant finished with 52 receptions, for 825 yards and 3 touchdowns and was the top target in the passing game for the Huskies.

Bryant is a local star from nearby Eastside Catholic High School in Bellevue, Washington, and is known as a mismatch when trying to cover him.
