BREAKING: Defensive Back Kasen Kinchen Commits To Washington

The Washington Huskies Football coaching staff received some great news earlier today when they added a local talent into the fold.

Three-star defensive back Kasen Kinchen committed to the Huskies as a preferred walk-on, via his twitter account, as he fulfills his dream of playing for the Dawgs.

Kinchen is from nearby Lake Stevens High School in Lake Stevens, Washington, where he made a household name for himself.

At 5-foot-10, 172-pounds, Kinchen is a talented prospect who played on both sides of the ball in high school, but the Husky coaches want him on defense.

During this past weekend, Kinchen went on his official visit to Washington and it didn’t take long for him to solidify in his mind the desire to be a Husky.

Kinchen chose the Huskies over schools like Eastern Washington, Utah State, Colorado, Air Force, Montana State, Northern Colorado, amongst others.
