The Washington Huskies Football coaching staff received some great news earlier today with a surprise addition to the secondary for the 2021 recruiting class.
Earlier this afternoon, defensive back prospect Davon Banks announced his commitment to the University of Washington via a message he posted on Twitter.
Banks plays at San Jacinto High School in San Jacinto, California and the Husky coaching staff got a good look at Banks during a camp last week at the University of Redlands in Southern California. At 6-foot-0, 170 pounds, Banks will fit nicely into an already stacked “DB” room.
Banks did not possess any other public scholarship offers and did not receive a recruiting ranking from 247Sports.
With the commitment from Banks, Washington now has four committed defensive back players for the 2021 recruiting class.
The other three Washington defensive back enrollees are Zakhari Spears, Dyson McCutcheon, and Vincent Nunley.
