BREAKING: Andre Baccellia Signs Undrafted Free Agent Contract With The Chiefs

When all the dust settled from the 2020 NFL Draft, another Husky wide receiver earned an opportunity with the reigning NFL Champions.

Sometime earlier today, Husky wide receiver Andre Baccellia signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Baccellia is a prototypical possession receiver who can make plays when his number is called, while also running past defenders for the deep ball.

He was named as a 2018 Academic All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection and also to the 2016 Academic All-Pac-12 Second Team.  Baccellia scored the opening touchdown in the Las Vegas Bowl last season against Boise State, and finished that game with three receptions for 34 yards.

During his senior season, Baccellia played in every game, other than the Apple Cup.  He started and caught five passes for 84 yards, including a 50-yard TD, in the Huskies win over Eastern Washington in the season opener

Baccellia is from Thousand Oaks, California where he played his high school ball at Westlake High School before joining the Washington Huskies.
