Washington sophomore guard Elijah Hardy had elected to enter himself into the NCAA transfer portal and continue his collegiate basketball career elsewhere.
Hardy has not ruled out returning to the Huskies next season, but wants to see what other options are out there for him for more playing time.
During last season at Washington, Hardy averaged 1.1 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist per game while seeing limited action along the way.
The Huskies got a recommitment this week from local point guard Nate Pryor from West Seattle High School, which probably led Hardy to evaluate his options.
For the Huskies, the future of the point guard position will depend upon the status of sophomore Quade Green and his academic eligibility.
